Patrick Kastner is an award-winning illustrator and designer. His work has been published in newspapers, magazines and websites throughout the country. He worked in the newspaper industry for over 20 years as a designer, illustrator and sometimes writer and editor before striking out on his own. He has a degree in journalism from Indiana University (and might be slightly psychotic about that institution's basketball team).
With his journalistic background, Pat places a strong emphasis on visual storytelling in his illustration and design work. Also, he has learned to laugh in the face of tight deadlines.
Pat lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and two sons. Informing his work are his obsessions with sports, music, film, European comics, Japanese manga and Batman.
